Testing Mac OS X Yosemite Beta on VMware Fusion 6.0.4

Today, Apple released the Public Beta of Mac OS X Yosemite. I haven’t tested a beta release of Mac OS X before, as I’ve yet to migrate to the full-paid Developer Program account. This is the first time Apple has chosen to release a beta version to the public though, so I thought I’d give it a spin.

Parallels 7 Features Automatic Linux Download

Parallels 7 for Mac comes out officially on Sept. 6, with a whole list of additional new features. Windows Vista - VirtualBox 4 to Parallels 6 Conversion

I recently obtained Parallels, through a great bundle deal from MacUpdate that I read about on MacRumors (exact post here). I am an avid user of VirtualBox (at home and at work), and still think it is a great solution, but I thought I would try Parallels out to see how well things like the Aero interface and 3D graphics worked under Windows Vista. I’ve had a Windows Vista license laying around from when I bought my HP machine several years ago (and subsequently loaded it with Ubuntu), and had already brought it into a VM under VirtualBox.
